From Osaka

  • By Kintetsu Limited Express, Kintetsu Nanba Station to Tsu Station takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • By JR, JR Namba Station to Tsu Station, changing at Tennoji, Kamo and Kameyama Stations, takes about 2 hours 40 minutes. The time taken depends on connecting trains.
  • By car, from Matsubara Interchange in Osaka take the Nishi Meihan Expressway towards Nagoya. At Tenri Interchange change to the Meihan Kokudo Freeway. At Seki Junction take the Ise Highway to the Tsu exit. It takes about 2 hours.

From Nagoya

  • By Kintetsu Limited Express, Kintetsu Nagoya Station to Tsu Station takes about 50 minutes.
  • By JR's Kaisoku Mie Express, JR Nagoya Station to Tsu Station takes about 50 minutes.
  • By car, from Nagoya Nishi Interchange in Nagoya take the Higashi Meihan Expressway. At Kameyama Interchange take the Meihan Kokudo Freeway. At Seki Junction take the Ise Highway to the Tsu exit. It takes about 1 hour 10 minutes.

From Chubu International Airport (Centrair)
From Chubu International Airport Access Plaza take the connecting walkway to Kuukoujima Terminal (the boarding point for the high-speed ferry). This takes 5 minutes on foot. Then take the ferry (either the Phoenix or the Katorea) to Tsu City. This takes about 40 minutes. More information is available on Centrair Access by Boat page.
