Yasuyuki MAEBA email@example.com , born in 1962, was elected as the Mayor of Tsu City in April 2011.
Highly experienced in Japanese local public finance market, he worked for Japan Finance Corporation for Municipalities （JFM） as the Head of Credit.
Previously he has held the position of Deputy Branch Manager of DEXIA Crédit Local Tokyo Branch.
In Dexia Tokyo, he devoted more than 4 years to the new challenge for providing the super-long term loans for local authorities in Japan as a newcomer to Japanese market.
Before changing his career by joining the private sector, he worked for Ministry of Internal Affairs & Communications （MIC） for 20 years. He has been placed in charge of local finance, local tax, overall local administration system and disaster prevention policy.
In 2005, he was promoted to Director for Administrative Planning in MIC.
He was also seconded to various local authorities as the executive officer. He was appointed as Director-General in Miyagi Prefecture（2003）, Head of Policy Planning in Kyoto City（1999） and Head of Finance in Kumamoto Prefectural Government（1994）.
He graduated from TOKYO University in the faculty of Law in 1985.
